On Wednesday, I posted about my love of buffalo check, specifically of the tiny, baby clothing variety. It screams of cornfields and cool weather and east coast autumns, and I couldn't love that any more. But there's another print in town that's making its way into our wardrobes this fall: plaid, buffalo check's older cousin.
Plaid's been around the block, so to speak, and has never been a print I loved. But I think it's making a comeback following an injection of some coolness that it was previously lacking. Enter Adam Lippes for Target. By the way, if your budget allows for it, Adam Lippes eponymous line is gorgeous. And very expensive.
Anyway, most Target collaborations produce quite a fanfare, but this one seemed to fly a little under the radar (at least to me - should I watch more television?). All the better, I say, since that meant my first trip to Target yielded a full selection - racks upon racks - of Adam Lippes for Target goodness.
Here are my picks from the collection - available online and in stores now.
Bottom Row (L to R): Grey Plaid Crewneck Sweater, Grey & Black Belted Layering Vest, Black Woven Jogger, Grey & White Plaid Mohair Coat, Oatmeal Plaid Reversible Throw, Red & Black Plaid Travel Dog Bed
