I can't believe it's already February (but is it Spring yet?!), and Valentine's Day is just around the corner. I've never really been big on celebrating the day, but, as I get older, I see more and more reason to celebrate the little things - as silly as they may be - and do something out of the ordinary. It's about spending time together, making memories and giving us something to look forward to (especially during the humdrum days of winter).
This year, Noam and I are going to make Valentine's boxes with a heart-shaped box and lots of stickers (Noam loves stickers) and heart-shaped poptarts and, over the weekend, Noam is going to a pajama party for a couple of hours while Jason and I enjoy a baby-less dinner.
I'm also picking up a few small, simple Valentine-themed gifts for Noam as an extra special treat. In my search for that perfect present for Noam, I found some really great Valentine's Day gifts for babes, so I thought I'd share. And check back later this week for a round-up of my favorite love-themed books (which is the route I ended up taking for Noam's gift).
